Product Information

StegoHome is a high-performance membrane designed to provide unmatched vapor protection, durability, and longevity below new home foundations. StegoHome offers a more effective and sustainable solution than generic, low-quality polyethylene sheeting historically used beneath residential concrete floor slabs. StegoHome is engineered with roll weight and dimensions suited to smaller residential project footprints and labor crews to improve installation efficiency and reduce waste.

      602.1.1.1 A capillary break and vapor retarder are installed at concrete slabs. Mandatory Product is installed in accordance with IRC Sections R506.2.2 and R506.2.3 or IBC Sections 1907 and 1805.4.1.

      Stego vapor retarders are specifically engineered to act as an effective water vapor retarder beneath concrete slabs and exceed minimum requirements outlined in the IRC and IBC.

The soil-gas retarder is a continuous 6-mil (0.15 mm) polyethylene or equivalent. Compliance option for 902.3(1) and 902.3(2). Mandatory Items 902.3.1.2 through 902.3.1.7 are also met. Mandatory for buildings in Zone 1. For Zone 2 or 3 buildings, 6 points if a passive radon system is installed OR 12 points if an active radon system is installed.
