Home Innovation Research Labs Adds Even More Expertise to Market Research Team

Upper Marlboro, Md. - Earlier this month, Home Innovation Research Labs welcomed Robert Maihofer as its new manager of marketing research. Maihofer brings with him a deep background in consumer and B2B marketing research and will be a great enhancement of the experience and expertise Home Innovation Labs already offer its home building industry clients.

Most recently, Maihofer was a consultant offering qualitative and quantitative marketing research services to a wide array of clients in various industries. Prior to this consultancy role, he cultivated his specialties at companies like Simpson Strong-Tie, Wirthlin Worldwide, Follett Software, and Cole Taylor Bank. Maihofer completed his undergraduate studies in Marketing at Michigan State University, and went on to receive his MBA with a specialization in marketing research from the University of Illinois at Chicago – both degrees conferred with honors. He has further honed his marketing research knowledge through coursework at the Burke Institute.

"The Home Innovation Research Labs has a long history of helping building product manufacturers identify product, process, and marketing keys to unlock the success – or ward off the failure – of their products," said Maihofer. "Utilizing the full arsenal of market assessment tools to help with a product's commercial success is more crucial today than any other time in the home building industry. I'm looking forward to helping advance Home Innovation Labs nearly 50-year tradition of high-quality, industry-specific marketing research."
