Product Information

Weyerhaeuser offers consistent, quality lumber products made from Douglas fir, Spruce-Pine-Fir, Hem-Fir, and Southern Pine.

    601.2 Structural systems/advanced framing techniques optimize material usage. 3 Product must be used a part of a system resulting in joist spacings at 24" OC or more.
    606.1 Biobased products are used. 8 points maximum awarded. 6 To earn 6 points this product must be at least 1% of the construction material cost AND another bio-based product, also at 1% of material cost, must be used. Lesser points are available at the 0.5% level.

    iLevel products are made from trees, a natural and renewable resource.

    606.2(2) A minimum of 2 wood or wood-based products used for major elements are certified to the requirements of a recognized product program. 4 To earn 4 points a second certified wood product must also be used as a major element for 4 points. Lesser points available for use with a minor element.

    iLevel manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada are independently certified to sustainable forestry standards as well as all Weyerhaeuser timberlands, ensuring the availability of forests for future generations.

    More than half of the energy needed to make iLevel building materials comes from by-products of the manufacturing process.

Minimum structural member sizes necessary in accordacne with advanced framing techniques. 3 Product must be used a part of a system that uses advanced framing concepts to minimize lumber usage byutilizing minimun size members and spacings.
