Muddy Boots Tour of Maryland Green Designer Show Home

August 14, 2012
11:00 AM
Gabrills, MD

During this "behind the walls" event, Home Innovation President Michael Luzier will speak about the ICC 700 National Green Building Standard (NGBS) and the value of builders like Michael Baldwin of Baldwin Homes, Inc., seeking NGBS certification.

The Maryland Green Designer Show Home is an eco-show home built to benefit partner charities, Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic and Hospice of the Chesapeake in Gambrills, Maryland. The project, started in April 2012, showcases not only the eco excellence that Baldwin Homes creates, but also their partnerships with unique landscape and interior designers throughout the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Upon completion of construction in September 2012, tours and various events will be hosted within the home all to benefit the two designated charities. Additionally, the home will be listed for sale, with the split earning from the sale directly benefiting these two causes as well.
