Home Innovation Research Labs is hosting this day-long, invitation-only stakeholder meeting as the first step in the process to develop A Builder's Guide to High-R Walls. The Guide will be used to support and accelerate a wider adoption of energy-efficient wall systems in residential construction. It will provide builders with practical solutions for the construction of high-performance walls that can be readily implemented in the field using available methods and materials, and can withstand the test of time from environmental and structural loads.
In addition to Home Innovation staff, who will lead the discussion, other participants will represent all facets of the residential construction industry from high-volume builders, to product manufacturers, to government entities, and other industry consulting firms.
