Seminar 3: Dynamic Housing
Since August 2008, the National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) has been delivering training and providing technical assistance for national nonprofit organizations involved in building affordable, sustainable, and healthy housing. The underlying goal of this work has been to demystify green building practices, to provide information about the latest innovations in green building products and techniques, and to provide practical technical assistance to community development corporations that are carrying out green building projects. In this session, Michelle Desiderio, vice president of Innovation Services for Home Innovation Research Labs; Michelle Roberts, CSI, REALTOR®, and member of the Home Innovation Board of Directors; and Rebecca Morley, executive director of NCHH will discuss the National Green Building Standard and how to design multifamily buildings to meet the growing consumer demand for safe, healthy, and energy-efficient housing.
