Home Innovation Proud to Welcome P.E. Nay Shah to our Team!

Published Wednesday, July 1, 2020

Home Innovation Research Labs is proud to announce the most recent member of our staff to become licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) – Nay Shah, Research Engineer, and member of our Building Science and NGBS Green Certification teams.

Nay joined Home Innovation in 2015 with mechanical engineering and analysis experience in HVAC systems. He leads and provides technical support as a project and research engineer on the U.S. DOE Building America Program. He also assists with verification review and interpretations for our NGBS Green program, and administers HUD’s Manufactured Housing Consensus Committee. Nay received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA.

“Nay has already been a great asset to Home Innovation and our ongoing project work for the last five years,” said John Peavey, P.E., Director, Building Science Division and Nay’s direct supervisor. “We’re really looking forward to his continued good works and the added value that he now brings to our clients. I’d like to personally welcome Nay to ‘the club’ and say how proud I am of his accomplishment.”

The entire Home Innovation team extends a heartfelt congratulations to Nay for this major professional milestone. Learn more about what it means to be a Licensed P.E. here
