Home Innovation to Study Mineral Fiber Batts Life Expectancy

Home Innovation Research Labs needs samples of exterior wall batt-type materials (excluding acoustical insulation) for a life expectancy research study that will assess the physical condition and thermal property of in situ wall insulation. The research study will include fiberglass and rock wool (stone wool) batts that have been in service for at least 30 years. The batts must have manufacturer’s identification markings identifying its R-value. Home Innovation will provide $250 per sample, per house in exchange for qualifying insulation samples with associated documentation.
