In January, the National Insulation Association (NIA) announced an updated standard for Faced Metal Building Insulation with two major additional requirements: A third-party certification mark must be on the finished product label for R-value. On November 1st, the City of Delray Beach (Florida) Commission adopted a Green Building Ordinance that establishes Sustainable Design and Construction requirements for new buildings and additions within the City’s Central Business District. The ordinance becomes effective November 1, 2023.

NGBS Green Certification Recognized Under FHA’s New Green MIP Reductions for Residential Care Facilities
