Unique Observational Spaces
Set up real-world scenarios to observe participant product interaction
Home Innovation Research Labs market research facilities combine comfort and efficiency with the latest in communication technologies. Built from the ground up to serve the needs of research projects and group events, our facilities offer a one-of-a-kind experience.
Observational Research Gallery
Our unique, two-story observational research area allows large-scale field studies of people interacting with tools, materials, products, or other people while maintaining the control and predictability only possible in a structured setting. Create true-to-life mock scenarios – a home interior, a back yard, a construction site, a store aisle – where participants are led through activities and discussions, under the discrete observation of clients behind one-way glass on two levels. This set-up provides the authenticity and deep insight of ethnographic research, but it makes more efficient use of time and resources.
Gallery features:
- 30' x 40' work floor with a ceiling height of about 30 feet
- Private floor-level and overhead observation galleries
- Six observer-controlled cameras
- Lapel microphones for participants
- Possibility to simulate extreme temperature ranges (from 10 to 150°F)
Location, Location, Location
