Home Innovation Research Labs to Launch Homeowner Omnibus Survey in Early August

Many building product manufacturers would love to have input from homeowners — either DIY'ers or those interested in a professional home remodel — but don't have the time or budget to field a nationwide custom survey of homeowners. Home Innovation Research Labs is launching a Homeowner Omnibus Survey next month to help manufacturers in this situation.

A quick and cost-effective way to gauge consumer reaction to a new building product or assess a product’s competitive advantage is to sponsor one or more questions in the upcoming Homeowner Omnibus Survey, one of the many survey products available through Home Innovation Research Labs.

No matter what a manufacturer’s market intelligence objectives, Home Innovation Labs can include questions to meet those objectives, and the process is easy:

  • Sponsors supply Home Innovation Labs with their questions, or provide their research objectives and allow Home Innovation to draft the questions.
  • The web-based survey goes out to homeowners August 7th - at least 600 responses anticipated.
  • Responses remain confidential to sponsors, and tabulations are provided by August 17th.
  • The fee to participate is dependent upon the number and complexity of questions, but typically ranges from $400 to $600 per question.
