    MicroPro treated wood products can be used in ground contact and fresh water immersion applications. The ICC Evaluation Service, ESR-2240 & ESR-1980 reports state that MicroPro treated wood can be used for retaining walls, landscaping and foundation.

    602.1.6 Termite-resistant materials are used in portions of the building. . . 2-6 To earn two points, product is used in conjunction with other termite resistant materials for the first 2 feet of all the foundation, floor, and structural wall, wall clading, and exterior deck components in zones with slight to moderate termite infestation. 4 points are awarded when used in the first 3 feet in moderate to heavy termite zones, and 6 points are awarded for use in all of the foundation, floor, and structural wall, wall clading, and exterior deck components in areas of very heavy termites.

    610.1.2.1 A product with improved environmental impact measures compared to another product is selected. 2 Points are available when MicroPro is chosen over ACQ treated wood products because of the benefits shown in the LCA.

    MicroPro treated wood products are EPP (Environmentally Preferable Product) certified by SCS based on Life-Cycle Assessment. This EPP benefit has been promoted by over 5,000 home centers and lumberyards in the U.S. www.scscertified.com/product

    901.4(2-6) A minimum of 85% of material within a product group (i.e., wood structural panels, countertops, composite trim/doors, custom woodwork, and/or component closet shelving) is manufactured in accordance with the following. 10 points maximum awarded. 2-4 A minimum of 85% of the product group in the building must be product that is compliant with this practice. Compliant products that are treated with Micro-Pro Wood Preservative Technology remain compliant after treatment.

    The MicroPro technology has been awarded the GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certifiation which certifies products for low volatile organic chemical (VOC) emissions that are used in schools, offices and other sensitive environments such as residential homes.
