Koppers MicroPro® Wood Preservation Technology

Product Information

MicroPro pressure treated wood is treated with micronized copper preservatives, which help protect against termite damage and fungal decay. MicroPro® technology can be used for decks, fences, landscaping and general construction uses.

      MicroPro treated wood products are EPP (Environmentally Preferable Product) certified by SCS based on Life-Cycle Assessment. This EPP benefit has been promoted by over 5,000 home centers and lumberyards in the U.S. www.scscertified.com/product

      901.4(2-6) A minimum of 85% of material within a product group (i.e., wood structural panels, countertops, composite trim/doors, custom woodwork, and/or component closet shelving) is manufactured in accordance with the following. 10 points maximum awarded. 2-4 A minimum of 85% of the product group in the building must be product that is compliant with this practice. Compliant products that are treated with Micro-Pro Wood Preservative Technology remain compliant after treatment.
